STEPHEN J. DAUGHERTY
Stephen J. Daugherty is the Chief Executive Officer of Coliseum Health System in Macon, Georgia.
Originally, from Oklahoma, Steve has over 18 years of administrative experience with HCA Corporation,
much of it spent in Florida hospitals. He has served as an acquisition specialist for the HCA West Florida
Division, CEO at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, CEO at South Bay Hospital, COO at St. Lucie
Medical Center, and Vice President/Administrator at Gulf Coast Hospital. Steve received his MBA from
Florida Gulf Coast University and has a Bachelors in Biology from Augustana College in Sioux Falls. He
also has a diploma in Medical Technology recognized by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
Steve serves on several boards in Macon including the United Way of Central Georgia, The Otis Redding
Foundation and the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce.
Amy Koop is Senior Vice President and San Francisco office lead at PMX Agency, a performance marketing agency headquartered in NYC, which offers a full range of best of breed marketing services to organizations from the Fortune 100 to startups. Amy has more than 15 years of experience in the industry and oversees all aspects of enterprise client engagements to ensure goals are met and surpassed, and that agency capabilities keep pace with client needs. She has worked with brands including The North Face, Symantec, ServiceMaster, Union Bank, Famous Footwear, Hearst Communications, The American Cancer Society and National Wildlife Federation. As a a member of the agency's Executive Board, Amy collaborates with senior leaders to drive strategic priorities and corporate direction. When she's not helping brands improve their marketing strategies, Amy is a competitive triathlete and volunteers with the San Francisco American Marketing Association and her college Alumni Board (St. Olaf).
Rick Bergman is the President and CEO of Synaptics (SYNA, $1.72B in FY17), a pioneer and leader of the human interface industry, bringing innovative and intuitive user experiences to intelligent devices. Synaptics’ products can be found everywhere, including in smartphones, notebook PCs, automobiles, and smart homes. Mr. Bergman joined Synaptics in September 2011 from AMD, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Product Group. From October 2006 to May 2009, Mr. Bergman was Senior Vice President and General Manager of AMD’s Graphics Product Group (GPG). His career at AMD began in October 2006 when AMD acquired ATI, where he held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager of the company's PC group. Prior to ATI, he served as Chief Operating Officer at S3 Graphics, a division of SonicBlue Inc. He has held senior level management positions in the technology field since his early roles at Texas Instruments, Inc. and IBM. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Maxwell Technologies (MXWL). Mr. Bergman holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Colorado.
CYNTHIA WOLFF PEATROSS
Cynthia is Of Counsel with the firm of Hayter | Reynolds Attorneys. Practicing law in Louisiana for 25 years, Cynthia primarily works in the areas of real estate transactions, corporate law and estate planning. Her real estate and corporate experiences include negotiating and closing complex commercial transactions involving apartment buildings, retail stores, hotels, and casinos. Over the past fifteen years, Cynthia has performed tax deferred exchanges pursuant to Internal Revenue Code, Section 1031. She formed Premier Exchange Resources, L.L.C. to serve as a Qualified Intermediary for tax deferred exchange transactions. A native Houstonian, Cynthia is also licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. She is a member of the Texas, Louisiana and Shreveport Bar Associations. She has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the A.B. Freeman School of Business of Tulane University and a Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University.
Cynthia was named one of Shreveport-Bossier's Top Attorneys by SB Magazine, in the years 2007, 2014, 2016 and 2017.
MARC S. HINES
Marc S. Hines received his Juris Doctor in 1988 from the University of Southern California and his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri. Prior to forming Hines Henderson in 1993, Mr. Hines was a trial attorney with Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory in Los Angeles and spent three years as an associate at the law firm of Hamilton & Samuels in Newport Beach.
Mr. Hines practices in the areas of general business litigation, insurance coverage analysis and litigation, long term health care defense, intellectual property litigation, employment law, construction law, and corporate law. While he has extensive trial and appellate court experience, Mr. Hines serves his clients most effectively with his ability to close seemingly irresolvable, multi-party business and litigation disputes.
Mr. Hines is licensed to practice before all courts of the State of California. When not practicing law, Mr. Hines practices and competes in the martial arts. He has earned black belt distinctions in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Brazilian Valle Tudo and, as part of this interest, also represents fighters in connection with their contract negotiations, business, and regulatory disputes.

- Area Admissions Officer for Hawaii, Los Angeles, Nevada, South Pacific territories, and part of New York City. Supervise 16 bursary students and the Assistant Director of Multicultural Recruitment. Plan and coordinate on campus yield programs, information sessions, phone-athons and mailings to prospective students. Travel domestically and internationally conducting presentations, meeting with alumni and visiting schools.
- Read and evaluate over one thousand applicants to Yale University each year.
Jason Lenz earned his BA in History from Anderson University in 1986. He earned his MS in Environmental Science at Taylor University in 2006. He earned his PhD in Earth and Atmospheric Science from the College of Arts and Sciences at Mississippi State University in December 2014. An abstract to his dissertation can be found here. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving in New Mexico (1984 – 1988), Iceland (1989), and Indiana (1990). He is the Chief Executive Officer at Creek Run, a company he founded in 1993.
